In this episode, I discuss how it’s like to live and work in Berlin – the cost of living, quality of life, culture, places to work, and fun.

Berlin is the capital and the largest city of Germany. It is a world city of culture, politics, media, and science. Home to world-renowned universities, orchestras, museums, and entertainment venues, and is host to many sporting events.

We had a chance to stay and work there. Overall, it was a fun-filled experience!

If you’re a digital nomad who plans to travel and work in Berlin or aspiring to become one – this will give you an idea of what to expect.

Pro tip: as in SG or Tokyo, if you plan to roam the city, get a 24 hour (or higher) train pass. Huuuuge savings on train fares, plus you can also take the bus using the same ticket πŸ˜€

Also: VERY important tip…when in Berlin, DO NOT LOSE YOUR TRAIN TICKET!!! Makakamura ka nga sa 2.50 EUR na single-trip ticket, ‘pag naiwala mo ‘yan at natyempuhan ka ng conductor, that’ll be an extra 60 EUR in fine and on the spot. Very active ang mga konduktor, I once encountered two of them within a single day! πŸ˜€

Yes, it’s possible. I am NOT traveling for work. I am traveling as a tourist, but I bring my work with me wherever I go. πŸ™‚ Officially, I’m a tourist (who checks his emails while traveling)
